At Suffolk Stables, we know that true horsemanship is not just about horse back riding.

Here, Adult and child students will learn to handle horses both on the ground and in the saddle by grooming, tacking and untacking their horse before and after their horse riding lesson.

Students are also enouraged to participate in other aspects of horse care, including feeding, bathing and providing medical care...all under the supervision of our experienced instructors. This "total horsemanship" approach gives students a sense of responsibility and a well rounded education in horse ownership.

Our Camps are in Spring, Summer and Winter, and cover everything a person needs to know when it comes to horses, even if to eventually own or lease their own horse. You do not need to own a horse to ride at Suffolk, so come out and just have FUN

At Suffolk, safety and fun are our main priorities. We provide a secure environment for students to work, learn and grow...all while having fun and developing new relationships. It is our desire that all students at Suffolk Stables be equipped with the tools and knowledge to achieve their goals both in and out of the horse riding ring.

Parents and siblings are welcome to watch - and even participate - in the care of our horses. We host regular social events and cookouts so that families and students can interact and have fun. We hold shows for the kids and shows for the kids to teach the parents!!!!... you win ribbons too ! This promotes a true familly atmosphere where everyone cheers for everyone else.
